Eligibility Criteria
- The applicant must be a permanent resident of Bihar.
- Must belong to SC, ST, BC, or EBC category.
- Family annual income should not exceed the prescribed limit:
- BC/EBC: Up to ₹3,00,000 per annum
- SC/ST: Up to ₹2,50,000 per annum (as per latest guidelines)
- Student must be studying in a recognized post-matric course (Class 11 onwards) in a government or recognized private institution.

How to Apply Online for Bihar Post Matric Scholarship 2026-27
- First, generate your One Time Registration (OTR) number on the National Scholarship Portal (NSP) if not already done.
- Visit the correct portal according to your category:
- BC/EBC Students: https://pmsonline.bihar.gov.in/
- SC/ST Students: https://scstpmsonline.bihar.gov.in/
- Click on “New Student Registration”.
- Complete the registration using Aadhaar and mobile number.
- Login and fill in all personal, academic, and bank details carefully.
- Upload the required documents in the prescribed format and size.
- Review the application and submit it.
- Download and save the acknowledgment for future reference.

Scholarship Benefits
