UN has appointed Chandramouli Ramanathan of India as Controller, Assistant Secretarty-General for Programme planning, Budget, and Finance in the Department of Management Strategy, Policy and Compliance. Bettina Tucci Bartsiotas of Uruguay will be succeeded by Chandramouli Ramanathan.
About Mr. Ramanathan:
- Mr. Ramanathan holds Masters Degree in Economics and is a Cost accountant.
- He served as Assistant Auditor General, India (1993-1995), and Director of Accounts for Auditor General of India (1989-1993).
- He previously served as Deputy Controller, Director of Accounts Division, and Chief of Service, IT services Division.
- He has also served as Acting Controller since september 2018, along with his position as Assistant Secretary-General for Enterprise Resource Planning(since 2016).
